aRT WORK
I’ve always been a curious person.
Through various lenses, I like to investigate the replication and degradation of images and visual patterns. I often gravitate towards examining the relationships between positive form and negative space- along with the interactions and impacts of additive color and value. By combining photography, printmaking, drawing, painting, and subtractive processes, I find excitement in studying how color, form, and subject matter can mutate over time and how their dialogues transform. After segmenting these focal points, I begin to build my work by identifying visual languages and hierarchies, then continue to move forward with a defined methodology and an awareness of how not to be bound by it.
